Bitget Surges in TradFi Trading, Achieving Nearly $70 Billion in Perpetual Volume in Q2 2026

Bitget Surges in TradFi Trading, Reports Nearly $70 Billion in Q2 Volume

VICTORIA, Seychelles, July 21, 2026 — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), is making waves in the financial sector, reporting an impressive $70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume for the second quarter of 2026. This remarkable figure, highlighted in the latest TokenInsight Q2 2026 Crypto Exchange Report, underscores Bitget’s growing influence in the rapidly evolving landscape of traditional finance (TradFi) integrated with digital assets.

The report reveals that TradFi perpetuals have emerged as one of the fastest-growing segments in the crypto exchange market, with monthly trading volumes skyrocketing from $52 billion in January to a staggering $268 billion by June. The surge is largely attributed to the rise of equity perpetuals, as exchanges like Bitget expand their offerings to include tokenized stocks, IPO products, and other real-world assets.

“TradFi perpetuals have transitioned from a niche product to a crucial area of competition among exchanges,” noted TokenInsight in their findings. Bitget’s strategic initiatives, including the launch of IPO Prime and Stocks 2.0, have positioned the exchange as a leader in this burgeoning market, with TradFi perpetuals accounting for 8.61% of its total derivatives volume—the second-highest among major centralized exchanges.

Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, expressed her enthusiasm about the report’s findings. “The data points to a market that is starting to catch up with the vision behind our Universal Exchange. UEX is built around the belief that investors don’t want separate platforms for crypto and traditional finance; they want frictionless access to opportunities across both,” she stated. “The trading volumes we’re seeing today reinforce that this is where the market is heading.”

Despite a slight decline in total crypto exchange volume to $16.5 trillion in Q2, Bitget’s performance stands out. Spot trading activity rebounded from $3.3 trillion to $4.5 trillion, driven by renewed market volatility and Bitcoin’s persistent testing of the $60,000 support level.

Bitget’s Universal Exchange ecosystem seamlessly integrates crypto, tokenized equities, commodities, and other global assets, providing users with a unified trading experience. As the lines between TradFi and crypto continue to blur, Bitget is committed to expanding the infrastructure necessary to support a diverse range of trading activities.

With over 125 million users and access to more than 2 million crypto tokens, 500+ tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, and precious metals, Bitget is not just a trading platform but a pioneer in driving crypto adoption. The exchange is also making strides in social responsibility, partnering with UNICEF to support blockchain education for 1.1 million people by 2027.

As Bitget continues to lead in the tokenized TradFi market, it offers the industry’s lowest fees and highest liquidity across 150 regions worldwide, solidifying its position as a key player in the future of finance.
