Bitcoin Well Partners with AnchorWatch to Enhance Customer Security and Expand Revenue Streams

Edmonton, Alberta – September 14, 2026 – Bitcoin Well Inc. (TSXV: BTCW, OTC: BCNWF; OTCQB: BCNWF), a pioneering non-custodial bitcoin business, has announced a strategic partnership with AnchorWatch, a provider of Bitcoin-native custody and insurance solutions. This collaboration aims to diversify Bitcoin Well’s revenue through recurring referral fees while offering customers enhanced protection for their bitcoin assets.

The newly formed agreement allows Bitcoin Well to connect its customers directly with AnchorWatch, enabling them to access a multisignature custody model. This innovative approach ensures that no single party can unilaterally move a customer’s bitcoin, addressing concerns about security and control. While most of AnchorWatch’s services will be available to eligible customers in Canada and the United States, insurance products will be exclusive to U.S. clients.

Chantel Lillycrop-Kostiuk, VP of Operations at Bitcoin Well, emphasized the importance of this partnership: “Our customers are at different stages of their Bitcoin journey. While self-custody remains at the heart of Bitcoin Well, some clients, particularly those with larger holdings, seek additional support with insurance and inheritance planning. AnchorWatch’s collaborative custody model aligns perfectly with our mission, allowing customers to maintain a sovereign recovery path.”

Becca Rubenfeld, co-founder of AnchorWatch, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are excited to support the needs of Bitcoin Well customers. Our custody options provide bitcoin owners the flexibility to stay in control of their funds while mitigating single-party risk. With our robust infrastructure and insurance offerings, we look forward to delivering the most resilient custody solutions on the market.”

In addition to the partnership with AnchorWatch, Bitcoin Well has also completed a debt settlement, issuing 2,101,200 common shares at a deemed price of $0.04 per share to settle outstanding indebtedness of $84,048. This debt was accrued under a sponsorship agreement and does not involve investor relations services, ensuring compliance with TSX Venture Exchange policies.

The debt settlement is pending final approval from the TSXV, with a statutory hold period of four months and one day for the newly issued shares.

Bitcoin Well continues to champion the mission of enabling financial independence through bitcoin, providing everyday people with the convenience of modern banking alongside the benefits of cryptocurrency. With existing business units like Bitcoin ATMs and an online portal, the company is well-positioned to support its growth and innovation.
